The following breeds are considered snub nosed:
Affenpinscher (all breeds), Boston Terrier, Boxer (all breeds), Brussels Griffon, Bulldog (all breeds), Cane Corso, Chow Chow, Dogue de Bordeaux, English Toy Spaniel, Japanese Chin, Lhasa Apso, Mastiff (all breeds), Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Pug (all breeds), Pekingese.

Important Points
- Clearance: 2-inch clearance at the top, front, and back for standing pets.
- Snub-Nose Breeds: Require a one size larger crate.
- Restricted Dogs: Need a reinforced wood or metal crate.
- Large Dogs: Over 36 inches tall and 49 inches long need a custom crate.
Interior & Safety
The interior must be smooth, with no protrusions that pets can bite or scratch.
All openings must be nose- and paw-proof to prevent injury to pets and handlers.
- For Dogs: Openings must not exceed 1 in x 1 in (2.5 cm x 2.5 cm)
- For Cats: Openings must not exceed ¾ in x ¾ in (1.9 cm x 1.9 cm)
In some cases, openings may need to be smaller to ensure complete safety.
